A 67-year-old Lawrence man on Tuesday reported the theft of two violins and a laptop computer.

According to a police report, the man said one violin worth $35,000, another worth $500 and a computer were stolen from the 5500 block of West Sixth Street sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Dec. 1.
