This year Scotch Fabric Care collected and cleaned a record 3,710 coats in Lawrence and 7,562 coats in Topeka. Scotch has collected and cleaned 193,280 coats to date.

After the public giveaway, Scott Shmalberg, president of Scotch Fabric Care, said, “Because of the current economic state, the demand for clean, warm coats is especially great this year and the Lawrence community responded by donating more coats than ever.”
