Holiday spirit?

To the editor:

Living on a small disability income is hard these days, but still my wife and I find that we can give to others. So in the spirit of Christmas I went to Dillons on Sixth Street to purchase a couple pairs of winter gloves to donate to the needy. In the spirit of Christmas, I selected two very warm pairs of gloves and took them through the self-checkout line. Then, in the hustle and bustle of the season, I walked away from the $40 cash back I had requested. I noticed I did not have the money after I got out in the street so I pulled my car over and called the store.

Someone had already taken the $40 and NOT turned it in (in the spirit of Christmas). So whoever found the $40 cash or watched me walk away from it, Merry Christmas and God bless, from my wife and I to you.
