Three members of the Free State High football team recently were named all-state selections by the Kansas Football Coaches Association.
Senior quarterback Camren Torneden earned the nod at both quarterback and kick returner.
Torneden finished the season with 935 yards rushing, 1,276 yards passing and 27 total touchdowns.
Torneden was joined on the all-state squad by offensive lineman Michael Lisher and defensive lineman Matthew Ruder.
In addition to the KFCA honor, all three Firebirds also earned all-state mentions from other media outlets throughout Kansas.
