Kansas University’s women, coming off impressive victories over UMKC and Creighton, climbed another notch in this week’s AP basketball poll.

The Jayhawks moved up a slot to the No. 22 position after slipping to No. 24 two weeks ago following back-to-back losses in the Bahamas.

Five Big 12 teams remain ranked ahead of the Jayhawks — Baylor at No. 6, Texas A&M No. 13, Oklahoma No. 15, Texas No. 17 and Nebraska No. 20.
