A 61-year-old Topeka man was taken to an area hospital Wednesday morning after a vehicle accident. According to reports from the Kansas Turnpike Authority, the man lost control of his vehicle in slush and hit the barrier on the turnpike near mile marker 187. A condition update for the man was not available Wednesday evening.
