Lawrence’s Sixth Street Walgreens to have H1N1 flu vaccine clinic on Wednesday
Lawrence’s Sixth Street Walgreens is having an H1N1 flu vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the store, 3421 W. Sixth St.
Stephanie Ammann, pharmacist, said the clinic is for anyone 18 and older because the pharmacists are not licensed to give the vaccine to anyone younger.
The cost will be $18. The pharmacy will bill Medicaid and Medicare patients.
No appointments are necessary. Immunizations will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
The pharmacy has 500 doses of the vaccine.
