Today’s ‘Second Miracle Treat Night’ to benefit local children’s network
A Lawrence Dairy Queen is having its Second Miracle Treat Night from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 1835 Mass.
The business is donating 15 percent of net sales to the Children’s Miracle Network, which will benefit Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Hospital and Kansas University Medical Center Pediatrics.
The event is a collaboration with KU Dance Marathon, a nonprofit student organization that raises money and awareness throughout the year for the local Children’s Miracle Network.
On Nov. 18, the Dairy Queen had is first “treat night” and raised $213.87 for the network. Its goal is to top that tonight.
