A woman was arrested Thursday morning after leading police on a foot chase.

Lawrence Police Sgt. Ted Bordman said officers about 1:15 a.m. had made a routine car stop near 25th and Cedarwood Avenue. Officers discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen. When police approached the vehicle, the occupants got out and fled the scene on foot.

Police captured the occupants and arrested the woman. The other occupants were not booked.

The woman was arrested for obstruction of legal procedure after running from officers.
