JGC Champs: Mark Terranova, Bill Hamilton, Mike Hertling and Tony Kovach teamed for an 18-under and won Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club four-man, two-net ball tournament at Alvamar. One stroke back were Conrad Roberts, Drew Walters, Pete Whitenight and Mike Ordrowski. Third place at 16-under went to Van Reichert, Tom Taylor, Mike Farve and Chris Anderson.

Burger Finishes: Greg Burger of Lecompton finished the grueling 100-mile “Race Across the Sky” trail run last weekend in Leadville, Colo., in 28 hours and 51 minutes. Also finishing were Gary Henry of Lawrence and Allen Smelser of McLouth.
