On a 4-0 vote commissioners approved a plat for a single-family home at 427 Country Club Drive.

Some neighbors of the vacant property had opposed the project, saying that the new driveway on the narrow, hilly road would be a safety hazard.

Commissioner Mike Amyx abstained from the vote because a family member has a property interest in the area.
