Princeton Review list names KU

The Princeton Review has released its list of the best 371 colleges and universities in the country, and Kansas University made the cut.

The ranking places KU in the top 15 percent of the more than 2,500 four-year institutions in the nation. A feature on the school praised student survey results indicating high marks in academics, and financial aid and environmental efforts.

The Princeton Review did not rank all the schools, but did provide more than 62 ranked “top 20” lists, featuring best and worst performers in different categories.

Of those lists, KU is mentioned on one — coming in at No. 18 on “Students Pack The Stadiums,” praising the popularity of intercollegiate sports. KU was behind the top performers like Pennsylvania State University, the University of Florida and the University of Michigan.
