Bank executive graduates from school

Ernesto Hodison, vice president of loan services at Douglas County Bank in Lawrence, has completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. GSBC is an intensive 25-month banking school providing senior management and leadership training for community banking professionals. Hodison was among 118 graduates of the 59th annual school session held July 12-24 in Boulder.

Hodison has 22 years of banking experience and has been with Douglas County Bank since 1997. He is a graduate of Kansas University with an emphasis in business administration. Hodison’s responsibilities at the bank include commercial loans, commercial real estate loans, consumer real estate and personal loans, as well as managing the Douglas County Bank credit department.

He is a graduate of Leadership Lawrence and volunteers as treasurer of Warm Hearts of Douglas County. He is also a board member and past state president for Boys and Girls Club.
