American Red Cross elects board members
The Douglas County Chapter of the American Red Cross elected the following new members to its board of directors. The three-year terms were effective July 1.
New members are Sandra Gautt, Kansas University associate professor of special education; Mike Lee, retired U.S. Air Force colonel; Doris Ricks, lean champion of Hallmark Cards Inc.; Matt Sarna, Lawrence police department; Mike Thompson, Lawrence Memorial Hospital chief of staff; and Eve Tolefree, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical division chief.
Newly elected officers are board chairwoman Kathy Clausing Willis, Lawrence Memorial Hospital; vice chairman Ken Peirce, The University National Bank; secretary Janell Barnow, Eudora public schools; and treasurer Brenda McFadden, CEO, The McFadden Group.
