Phlebology specialist earns certification

Dr. Dale P. Denning has earned board certification in the specialty of phlebology from the American Board of Phlebology. Denning was first board certified by the ABPh in June. This is the second class of diplomates for ABPh, which now includes an exclusive group of 412 diplomates nationwide.

To become an ABPh diplomate, an applicant must complete the requisite training or experience qualifications, meet the continuing medical education requisites, and pass a stringent certification examination.

Denning established the Lawrence Vein Center in 2005 to provide minimally invasive, office-based venous procedures for patients. He is a board certified general surgeon and has been practicing in Lawrence since 1989.
