Another year, another Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for Ten Restaurant at the Eldridge Hotel in downtown Lawrence.

The hotel’s restaurant is being recognized in 2009 for “having one of the most outstanding wine lists in the world.” The restaurant at 701 Mass. also received the Award of Excellence designation in 2007 and 2008.

Ten is to be listed in the Aug. 31 issue of Wine Spectator, which includes the magazine’s annual Restaurant Awards and Dining Guide.

According to the magazine, the Award of Excellence recognizes wine lists — typically featuring at least 100 selections — that “offer a well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.”
