To the editor:

I would just like to commend our wonderful governor for having the strength of her convictions even when under the scrutiny she is currently. I am proud to live in a state with a governor who is willing to defend our Constitution as she did when she vetoed the late-term abortion bill this week.

I would also like to remind everyone of something the pro-life camp, Tony Perkins in particular, wants us to forget. This is not about Gov. Sebelius’ confirmation. Abortion and family planning are legal in our great country because to restrict them is not supported by our Constitution. We had better think twice before allowing anyone to change that vital document.
