Firebirds tennis team tops Leavenworth
The Free State boys tennis team defeated Leavenworth, 8-1, on Thursday at Free State High.
The Firebirds swept the doubles matches. Winning those matches were Michael Swank and Rodolfo Gauto Mariotti, Blaine Kaehr and Andrew Craig, and Patrick Carttar and Daniel Gilroy.
Winning singles matches were Diego Gonzalez, Chris Helt, Austin Bergstrom, Luke Cortese and Ben Bartles.
