Lawrence Early Childhood Special Services is offering free developmental screenings for children who are 3 to 5 years old.

The screenings test children’s walking, talking, hearing, seeing, thinking and play skills.

Screenings are by appointment only on the afternoons April 28 and May 12.

The screenings are administered at the East Heights Early Childhood Family Center, 1430 Haskell Ave.
