Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department and G-Force Athletics will offer three cheerleading clinics for youths of various age groups. The clinics will teach cheers, chants, jumps and more.

The first two clinics will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. April 30. One clinic is for children ages 5 to 7; the other is for children ages 8 to 13. The last clinic will be for 14-to 18-year-olds from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 1.

All clinics will be at Kansas University’s Robinson Gymnasium, 1301 Sunnyside Ave. Cost for the clinic is $10. Preregistration is required. To register online, visit lprd.org. For more information, call recreation program supervisor Jo Ellis at 832-7930.
