Leavenworth Freshman goalkeeper Mariah Dickson earned the shutout in goal, and three Free State High players scored in a 3-0 victory over Leavenworth on Friday.
The first goal was scored by Hillary Yoder off a service from Hannah Carlson, and freshman Regan Keasling scored off a an assist from Erin Ice. Amanda Moyer scored the final goal.
FSHS coach Jason Pendleton cited Hannah Carlson for an “outstanding game.”
Free State (3-3-1) will play host to Shawnee Mission East at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
