Library hours to change Sunday

The Lawrence Public Library’s hours will change on Sunday before the “After Hours at the Library” fundraiser that will feature Neda Ulaby, National Public Radio arts reporter.

The library, 707 Vt., will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, instead of the normal 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The change will give volunteers time to prepare the library for the 7 p.m. fundraiser sponsored by the Lawrence Public Library Foundation.

During the event, Kansas Public Radio’s Laura Lorson will interview Ulaby at 8 p.m. about her time in Lawrence as a child when she would often visit the library.
