Lawrence Memorial Hospital will showcase its earth-friendly initiatives on Wednesday.
The “green” event will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the atrium at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, 325 Maine. It is open to the public.
The hospital will be offering ECO-Choice Natural Spring Water, the nation’s first water packaged in cartons that were made from renewable and sustainable resources. LMH and Overland Park-based CRB Springwater officials will be on hand to answer questions.
Cans for the Community also will be donating $1,000 to the hospital.
