Former Dole adviser is new Dole Institute visiting fellow

Michael Glassner, who has served as a senior adviser to former Sen. Bob Dole, has been selected as the Visiting Dole Fellow for spring 2009 at the Dole Institute of Politics at Kansas University.

He also served as director of vice presidential operations for the 2008 McCain/Palin campaign.

Glassner will be on campus from Monday until Wednesday.

He will be a guest at the spring study group, “Obama’s First 100 Days,” at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Dole Institute. He also will interact with students at a Pizza and Politics session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in 163 Regnier Hall at the Edwards Campus in Overland Park.
