Another aspect of the management plan for Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area has been drafted and public comments about it are sought.
The draft, “Power of Story,” can be viewed online at ffnha-hosting.com. The public has until April 20 to make comments.
The Power of Story will acquaint readers with the Freedom’s Frontier and how partners in the heritage area are committed to telling their stories. Other sections of the management plan also are online.
The overall plan will guide the heritage area’s activities for the next decade. Over the next month the remaining sections of the plan will be posted online for public comment.
The management plan will be submitted to the National Park Service for approval this spring. Once approved, the heritage area will partner with the park service for technical assistance and will qualify for federal funding.
