Emergency crews assist two capsized kayakers at Clinton Lake
Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical helped two capsized kayakers Friday evening at Clinton Lake.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, near Boat Ramp 4, directly north of the town of Clinton, at 7:12 p.m.
One kayaker swam to a nearby boat ramp before crews arrived. The other floated with the current to shore, where he was treated by a medic and transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
