The city of Lawrence will sponsor two egg hunts on April 11.

Staff members at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive, will host the city’s annual Underwater Eggstravaganza. A craft-making seminar will begin at noon, and the egg hunt will begin at 12:30 p.m.

The city’s traditional egg hunt in South Park also will take place that day. The egg hunt will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. It is free and open to children 3 to 12 years old. Each child is allowed to collect up to five eggs. Children are required to register with parks and recreation staff members before they begin hunting.
