Kansas women’s golf fourth at home meet

Kansas University’s Jennifer Clark, playing as an individual, shot a two-round 149 to take the overall individual lead after Monday’s first day of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational at Alvamar Public Golf Course.

Emily Powers led the KU team with a two-round 152 and was tied for fourth.

The tournament will conclude today. Play will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
