Job expo targets senior citizens

The second annual "Senior Employment Expo - Where Ability is Ageless," will be Thursday at the Lawrence Senior Center, 745 Vt.

The expo will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will include a job fair between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and workshops from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The workshops will offer tips about resumes, interviews and career transitions.

An addition to this year's expo is continuing education information. Representatives from area schools will be available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. There also will be a lunch on the lawn from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be hot dogs and the New Horizons Band will play.

If all the illegals are hiding, then someone has to take the $6 per hour jobs.
