Lawrence High School celebrates Homecoming today, and the Lions are taking to the streets to do it.

Before LHS takes on Shawnee Mission West tonight, the school will hold its annual Homecoming parade, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at South Park. The parade travels on Massachusetts from South Park to 19th Street, where it will turn west and head to LHS.

Sports teams and clubs will show off floats, while cheerleaders and the marching band demonstrate their school spirit.

Free State High School’s Homecoming is Oct. 3.
