¢ The Douglas County Dental Clinic is hosting Free Dental Day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Volunteers are needed to offer assistance in filling out paperwork, organizing, line control and providing information to patients. There will be a volunteer meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the clinic. ¢ Body Boutique is hosting its third annual WOW 5K and 1-mile run on Oct. 11 to benefit the Women’s Transitional Care Services Inc.

The race, which is open to men and women, begins at 8 a.m. Volunteers are needed to direct runners. They will be asked to attend a meeting on Oct. 4, to go over race instructions and should arrive at 6:30 a.m. on race day.
