Lawrence Orthopaedic Surgery, 1112 W. Sixth St., will have free sports injury clinics for student athletes from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturdays from Sept. 6 to Nov. 1.

The clinics are offered to all junior and senior high school and collegiate athletes who have sustained a recent or acute injury. No appointment is necessary, but all patients will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Lawrence Orthopaedic Surgery is sponsor of the Kansas Center for Athletic Medicine LLC, which provides services to benefit athletes in Lawrence and the surrounding communities and focuses on the prevention, evaluation and treatment of sports injuries.
