High stakes

To the editor:

The time is getting close. The next few days, the voters will be voting for the local, state and national candidates.

The citizens of this country have the right to vote, one of the special privileges a person has, to choose the right person to hold an office.

The candidates make a lot of promises about what they can do when elected. They broadcast through the radio, television, the newspaper what they’ll do if elected. Before the time comes to vote, be sure you have heard and watched them on the TV and read in the newspaper the promises they are going to do when elected. Can the candidates you voted for deliver the promises they were talking about? Be serious when voting for the candidate of your choice.

Seriously, the security of this country, the United States of America, and you, the people, are at stake. We depend on the candidates we are voting for.
