Silent auction to help Habitat for Humanity

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be host to its second annual Up-Cycle Silent Auction today to benefit the organization’s building program.

ReStore, 800 Comet Lane, is a retail outlet that sells donated home building materials to benefit Habitat for Humanity projects. The materials often would instead go to landfills.

Local artists created pieces from the recycled building materials that will be featured in the silent auction.

Bidding begins at 9 a.m. Final bids and awards will be at 3 p.m.
