KU Homecoming parade to close streets Saturday morning

Kansas University's annual Homecoming parade, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, will cause some traffic to be re-routed in the morning.
Oread Avenue between 12th and 13th streets will be closed from 7 a.m. until the parade ends, estimated to be about 9:45. The nearby parking garage will only be accessible from Mississippi Street during the parade.
Jayhawk Boulevard will be closed for the duration of the parade.
