Accident reroutes Iowa Street traffic Friday night
A man was transported to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., via air ambulance Friday night following a motorcycle and pedestrian accident in the 2300 block of Iowa Street.
The victim was the pedestrian and had life-threatening injuries. The accident occurred at about 10 p.m.
Southbound traffic on Iowa Street was temporarily rerouted west on Clinton Parkway to avoid the accident scene.
