A sprinkler malfunction late Monday night forced the evacuation of portions of a nursing home in 50 degree weather.

A police dispatcher said emergency crews were called to the Medicalodges of Eudora shortly after 9:30 p.m.

It look crews about half an hour to fix the problem.

No one was hurt during the incident.
