Conservation award nominees sought

The K-State Research and Extension-Douglas County office is asking for nominations for the Conservation Awards Program sponsored by the Kansas Bankers Association.
Nominations can be made by any person in the county and can be sent to the Douglas County Extension Office, 2110 Harper St., Lawrence.
This year the categories will include energy conservation, water quality, water conservation, soil conservation, windbreaks and wildlife habitat. The wildlife award is co-sponsored by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
