Man obtains false Social Securty card
Lawrence Police are working to determine how a man obtained a false Social Security card and number, said Sgt. Bill Cory.
Officers said the 36-year-old man was trying to open an account with a fraudulent Social Security number around 2 p.m. Friday at Douglas County Bank, 3101 Iowa. Cory said the suspect was cooperative with officers.
