Didn’t see it?

To the editor:

Two weeks ago, Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson stated that he didn’t see the financial collapse coming until three or four days before it happened. What has he been doing for the last two years? He must have been sitting in his high-backed leather chair dreaming of how much he could rip off the U.S. economy. Most people with any knowledge of the economy have been concerned about the housing situation for the last two years.

In other words, I would prefer that someone other than Henry Paulson and George W. Bush handle the $700 billion payout. They have had at least two years to correct this malfeasance and have done absolutely nothing. Stupidity!
