Annual EudoraFest scheduled for today

Eudora will celebrate its German heritage and fall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today with the 12th annual EudoraFest.

Vendors will open at 9 a.m. Some will be in the parking lot of the Eudora Community Learning Center at Ninth and Main streets. Others will be in the downstairs hallway of the community learning center. Events include:

¢ 9 a.m.: Opening ceremonies at Main Street stage with national anthem and presentation of flags by Eudora Boy Scouts; community learning center vendor area opens; and Kids Path to Pizza at Fire and Police Department building.

¢ 9:30 to 11 a.m.: Country vocal quartet performs.

¢ 9:30 a.m.: Miss EudoraFest Pageant begins at CPA Gazebo.

¢ 11 a.m.: Stock garden tractor pull registration at 10th and Fir streets.

¢ Noon: Kansas River Gang re-enactment at CPA Park.

¢ 2:30 p.m.: Talent show.

¢ 4 p.m.: Kansas River Gang re-enactment at CPA Park, citizenship award presentation and door prize drawings.
