Home-buying seminar at KU Credit Union

KU Credit Union will conduct a home-buying seminar from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Thursday at its 3400 W. Sixth St. branch.
Beth Cordova from Farm Bureau Insurance will talk about insurance in the home-buying process, and Steve LaRue from McGrew Real Estate will discuss the Realtor's perspective on buying a home.
Attendees will learn the advantages of home ownership, steps it takes to purchase a home, how to apply for a mortgage and get an additional $200 off closing costs and information about the $7,500 tax credit for first-time buyers.
