A replay of Free State High School’s first foray into a state football championship game will be shown Sunday on KTKA channel 49.

The 6A game — pitting the Firebirds against Junction City High School at 3:30 p.m. today in Topeka — will be shown after a replay of the 2A championship game, which airs at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. KTKA is seen on Sunflower Broadband’s channel 12.

The Firebirds are playing in the title game for the first time in school history. Free State opened in 1997.
