Hometown Games to play against hunger

Hometown Games, 711 W. 23rd St., Lawrence, will hold its sixth annual Playing Against Hunger Drive during November.

The game store will have gaming events and tournaments throughout the month to collect food and raise funds to help people in need.

Hometown Games also will have a silent auction of various gaming and other items. Anyone who brings in two nonperishable items during the month of November will receive a 10 percent discount off regularly priced in-store merchandise or an additional 5 percent off the existing discount.

All proceeds from the drive will go to Ballard Community Services.
