Free State High junior forward Daniel Chance has been named to the All-Sunflower League boys soccer team as chosen by league coaches.

Free State’s Dale Shillington, a senior midfielder, was named to the second team.

The Firebirds’ Diego Gonzalez and Parker Liebl earned honorable mention, as did Lawrence High’s Will Burg, Derek Rousch and Jake Pfannenstiel.

In addition, Chance and Shillington also were named to the Class 6A all-state team, with Chance receiving the most votes at forward and Shillington tying for the top spot among all defenders.

Lawrence High defender Bobby Davis also earned first-team all-region honors and second-team all-state honors.

Joining Davis on the all-region second team were: Gonzalez, LHS seniors Dar Fornelli and Spencer Scott, and LHS junior Matthias Reiber.
