The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce will welcome Regina Heise, director of the U.S. Commercial Service in Kansas City, Mo., to speak at a breakfast seminar at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Alvamar Country Club.

Heise will discuss how her office works locally to assist businesses, the current export activity in Kansas and Missouri and free trade agreements.

Heise works with U.S. companies to pursue international sales opportunities and coordinates efforts with the larger international trade community to bring value-added programming to area businesses.
