“Dinner & Dancing at Dusk,” a benefit for the Lawrence Community Shelter, is set for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. June 6 at Alvamar, 1809 Crossgate Drive.

Honorary chairpeople are Mark and Mary Jane Mangino and Stan Herd. There will be Italian music and food, a band and live auction. The event costs $75 per person.
