Lawrence Police Department will participate in a special traffic enforcement program to ensure drivers and passengers are properly using safety devices in vehicles.

The Click-it or Ticket initiative also will focus on school zone compliance. During the enforcement, police will conduct two saturation patrols and a sobriety check lane.

The saturation patrols will be from 5 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. May 31.

A sobriety check lane will begin at 11 p.m. May 31 and conclude at 2 a.m. June 1.
