‘Pint for Pint’ blood drive set for Thursday

The Community Blood Center is hosting the annual “Pint for Pint” blood drive Thursday at all Community Blood Center locations. The Lawrence location is at 1410 Kasold, Suite 6.
If you give one pint of blood, you will receive one pint of Blue Bell ice cream. The blood drive is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to help boost blood collections prior to the traditionally slow summer months. According to the center, blood donations decrease by about 20 percent in the summer.
