Junior Achievement elects board officers

Jeff Novorr, of Lawrence Memorial Hospital, was elected chair of the Lawrence Junior Achievement board of directors last week. He succeeds Jamie Lowe of Capital City Bank.

Other officers:

¢ Patrick Knorr, of The World Company, who remains secretary.

¢ Brad Burnside, of U.S. Bank, who was elected vice president for finance.

¢ Roger Scott, of Scott Temperature, who remains vice president for programs.

Lawrence Junior Achievement provides business education programs and supplies volunteers to teach those programs in Douglas County grade school and junior high classrooms.

Junior Achievement programs were taught this past school year in more than 200 classrooms and reached more than 4,000 students.
